Kids Art Classes Term 4 Tuesdays 4-5.15pm FOUR WEEKS starting October 10

Join us for a creative fun-filled start of term four!

The first four week of term 4 art classes will focus on the skills of printmaking using printing plates and stencils made by the children to create unique and individual monoprints as well as making printed collage paper to create their own illustrated book. Yes each child will have fun making their very own individual colourful book!

This term participants will have an opportunity to learn or extend their knowledge of printmaking creating their own printing plates. They will also experiment with Gelli plate printing and create different monoprints and collage paper that they will then use to illustrate a concertina book using collage techniques. By the end of the four weeks block children will bring home their handmade monoprints and their illustrated book.

This workshop is offered in a 4 weeks block and each week, participants will explore printmaking techniques using quality material and learn printmaking techniques to build their creative confidence. Children are encouraged to make creative choices, they are challenged to experiment and problem-solve throughout the lesson.

Dates: 10 October, 17 October, 24 October, 7 November (please note no classes Tuesday 31st October - Halloween)

This workshop is a drop off child class specifically designed for our primary school aged artists.

Time: 4-5.15pm

Projects: monoprints using handmade printing plates and Gelli plates with stencils, illustrated collage book.

Price: 4 weeks block $100 which includes all material and their completed projects to take home

Note: Bring a water bottle. We provide aprons however we suggest children wear clothes that can get messy.
