AUSTRALIAN BIRDS ALL DAY KIDS WORKSHOPS Friday 4th July

Winter School Holidays - Australian Birds

Your children will spend the day immersed in art activities around Australian birds.

They will start the day by experimenting texture painting to create an interesting and striking background in the colour of their chosen Australian Bird. They will then draw their chosen Australian bird on printing foam adding different line work techniques to create texture on the bird and finally they will transfer their bird design by printing it onto their textured background.

They will also make their chosen Australian bird keyring bringing the magic of heat shrink paper to life.

Between the creative sessions, children will have time to enjoy indoor and/or outdoor play and a sensory or craft table will also be setup.

Time: 9am-3pm

Projects: Australian Bird Print Art and Australian Bird Key Ring.

Note: We provide aprons however we suggest children wear clothes that can get messy. Please pack a morning and afternoon snack, a lunch, a water bottle and a hat.
