Term 2 Kids Art Classes - Tuesdays 4-5.15pm - starting 23 April 2024

Join us for a creative fun-filled term!

We will start next the term with building in 3D, a request from current students to design and build something fabulous using planning, imagination and an wide array of materials and techniques.

We will also work on 'ALL ABOUT ME' theme this term and incorporate your likes and strengths in selfs portrait with a twist.

At our art classes, children will use their own ideas to create something unique, be encouraged to make creative choices, explore and experience, they are challenged to experiment and problem-solve throughout the lesson.

This art class is offered in a 8 weeks block starting the second week of term Tuesday 23 April 2024 and finishing a week before the end of term 2 on Tuesday 11 June 2024 and each week, participants will explore various techniques using quality material whilst building on their creative confidence.

This term they will be using kid-safe tools to built their cardboard 3D creations, learn how to safely use a low temperature hot glue gun. They will also learn cardboard and paper sculpting techniques, draw and paint portraits.

Dates: Every Tuesday starting Tuesday 23 April 2024 until Tuesday 11 June 2024

Time: 4-5.15pm

This workshop is a drop off child class specifically designed for our primary school aged artists. If your child wants you around, that you want to join in, please let me know in advance so we can accommodate the best option for you and all children.

Projects:
We will work on various projects throughout the term including:
* 3D Build of their choice.
* ALL ABOUT ME portrait with a twist.
* We always tailor to the class and children present so may also add other activities and other fun projects throughout the term. There is always plenty to explore each week and techniques to learn and/or practise.

Price: 8 weeks block $200 + GST which includes all material and their completed projects to take home. Can also be booked for half terms.

Note: Bring a water bottle. We provide aprons however we suggest children wear clothes that can get messy.
